Welcome to the Leder Eye Center:

Our philosophy is such that our goal is to provide the best in medical and surgical care along with great customer service. That is why we limit the number of appointments per day so we can spend time with each patient. We do not employ any technicians to perform your eye exam. The doctor performs your exam and will discuss with you any concerns you have regarding your eye health. Your time is valuable and we respect that you have much to do during your day. We make every attempt to see you at your appointment time and realize you have other activities you are trying to accomplish.

We offer the latest in advanced technology to evaluate your ocular health. We can perform dilated retinal exams to evaluate your eye for any changes that may be evident from diabetes, macular degeneration or other retinal problems. We have the most advanced technology to perform a laser-scan of the optic nerve to watch for any changes related to glaucoma. This laser-scan is called “scanning laser ophthalmoscopy” (SLO) and records an evaluation of your optic nerve and can later detect changes to the nerve that are unable to be seen with the naked eye.

Dr. Leder is very active with the Trauma Services and is familiar with the problems associated with mild to severe ocular trauma and is able to treat a wide variety of ocular injuries and trauma. Our office can serve as a source of information and can refer you to a sub-specialist if oculoplastic, retinal or corneal care is needed.
